a human’s best friend

After having lost my best dog friend ever in February 2015 and again having to let go of a little puppy in November 2016 I told myself not to put so much energy and especially love into a dog again. At least I planned to do so until I met this little treasure.

My Mother found an advertisement of some Labrador Puppies here nearby on Facebook and every member of the family knew, there we would go again. A dog is something when you once have had it can’t be missed anymore. It gives you the feeling of never being alone, someone who waits for you at home no matter what and a little playmate that forces you to go outside more. Only advantages you could think but that’s not only the case. We certainly had to get used to this little sweetheart again. What you tend to forget is the many times you have to clean up the little “accidents” or the 30 minutes a day it literally turns into a beast and bites into everything it shouldn’t. And in the beginning of course most of the time somebody should be at home so that it gets used to the environment etc.

I’m a real dog person and anyone around me wouldn’t ever try to fight that ;). Having grown up with a dog I just really love the energy and happiness a dog can give you and also that it is about energy and not talking. Now being a little older and really experiencing how a little puppy turns into a lovable dog; I understand how much time and energy it consumes to have and raise a dog. It is far more than going on a walk and giving food.

Here are some pictures of me and my dogs.
