(nl) Op de eerste woensdag van de Zomercursus moesten we vroeg op pad zodat we om 10 uur ’s Ochtends in Den Haag waren. Wat leuk om door de Zomercursus in mijn lievelingsland te komen. Eerst kwamen we in het genot van een rondleiding door het Binnenhof, de Eerste en Tweede Kamer. Na een lunch in het Literatuurmuseum Den Haag hadden we wat vrije tijd om de stad te ontdekken. Met de meiden zijn we door de straatjes gelopen op zoek naar de leukste vintage winkels. En natuurlijk ben ik ook nog even de Hema binnen geweest. Het was een ongelofelijk leuke dag!
(eng) On the first Wednesday of de summer school we had to wake and get up early to arrive in The Hague at 10 o’clock in the morning. So cool to visit my favourite country together with the summer school. Firstly, we enjoyed a tour through het Binnenhof, an ancient courtyard which houses important Parliament buildings of The Netherlands such as the Eerste Kamer and the office of the Prime Minister. Furthermore, we could enter the Tweede Kamer, in English the House of representatives. After a lunch in the museum of Literature we had some leisure time. Together with the girls I looked for the best vintage shops. And a visit to Hema couldn’t miss either. It was a splendid day.
