Budapest – Fishermen’s Bastion

On our third and last full day in Budapest we went for the most touristic attractions in town. We visited the Fishermen’s Bastion and Matthias Church. Although it is very touristic we enjoyed it and took of course some great pictures. 😉

For lunch we didn’t want to stay there because the restaurants didn’t seem too traditional and more like touristic attractions. So we walked in the direction of the parliament and found a cute hidden bar café. It’s called BeregBar.

After our delicious goulash soups we went to the most famous island on the Danube. Unfortunately when we were right in the middle of the island it began to pour down. Soaked and wet we found a hotel were we asked for taxi which would take us with him to the Duna Aréna. There we went to see the Budapest Open, an artistic swimming competition.

This city trip was so cool and we had a lot of fun together. Budapest is very beautiful, the native are all very friendly and cooperative. I will definitely go back *.*
